Also, I’ve moved my luminasounds.com record label site over to a wordpress one, feel free to check it out here:
Well there was something of an Indian Summer here last week, after I had (wrongly) predicted the end of the Summer. Here’s some recent Images, taken locally. I thought I’d try this WordPress circles view.
My album is still on schedule for release at the end of this month.
I consolidated things considerably and will release a single album, as opposed to the larger release I had intended. It’s a selection of ambient ‘Seascapes‘. More will be revealed soonest !
Summer seems to be passing soon here, I love the later night light, but I’m no fan of hot weather, so I have mixed feelings about the impending Autumn.
Here’s a recent selection of images, all taken with an iphone 6+ and the HDR4 app, processed with Maxcurve. I like to start with the ‘flat’ image from HDR4 and give it some depth with Maxcurve, which is still my favourite image editing app.
My album is still being worked on and I’m currently making some more recordings with my binaural microphones setup for (possible) inclusion on it.
Selection of images taken whilst out and about with the hound in the local woods.
All taken with an iphone (6 plus), using the HDR4 app and processed with the marvellous Max Curve App http://maxcurve.net/
Just a blogette to say that I’m still on the case with the Igneous Flame material and I hope to have a new album finished in the summer. Having finally finished my ‘Morphotheek’ Formbank album (my ‘unwelcome jazz’ side-project), I can now return to the female vocal album that has been stewing away for quite some time. I also plan to work towards a generative album too, using iOS apps, in particular ‘Noatikl’.
I’ve been pretty active with the iphonegraphy recently, I take a lot of shots but only post a few, but here’s a recent one I’m quite pleased with.
I’ve just posted a new track on my Soundcloud page, which was created in the aforementioned ‘Noatikl’. It’s a free download:
